Last night (Friday night) i went snowboarding with bruno...one time when we went down the slope i fell badly. The Toe Edge cut into the ice (the conditions weren't that good) and i fell forward on my head and on my left shoulder. Immediately i recognized that it was a hard overturn, but i thought i could go down by myself. When I tried to get up my collarbone (schluesselbein) hurt, so i asked another guy that came by for help...he went down and sent help up. After a long time a guy with a barrow behind him arrived...he put me into it and we went down to the first aid station.
There they gave me some pain pills and ice and called my host familie. Then we went down with the shuttle bus.
Afterwards Jeralyn took me to the emergency department. After some physical examination the diagnosis was a collarbone fracture. The good thing is that it was a clean fracture...which means that the two parts of the bone weren't displaced. I got a sling to put my arm in and some pain pills.
The following night was okay...i didn't sleep too long because in the morning it started hurting and when it got bright i couldn't turn.
But later in the day when i wanted to shower and bent forward one part of the bone jumped and it really hurt...so we went back to the emergancy department...but they couldn't do much...i just got another sling (an 8 sling or something = Rucksackverband) now i can't move my arm much anymore but therefore i think it doesn't hurt that much.
Yeah that's about it. Besides that i'm fine.
